Thanks wsmith. I just got my order in on time and used the 15 dollar off first time buyer coupon, so got the DOB for $159.99, I think that sounds like a pretty good deal with no tax and no shipping charge. Thanks for the info.

I'm a newbie, but very interested in a getting a decent startup telescope, was interested in the other ones that have the computerized finding of objects. Is that option any good or do u suggest sticking with the 6" one as a better option and forego on the computerized finder?

don't plan on just getting the rebate, never got my $50 one from last december, called them and all, they screwed me and they have screwed a lot of people, so u are taking your chances, they aren't gonna give printers away for free for the last year and many of us have found out the hard way...
