Great, I got a copy of the letter. its from a company called Credit Collection Services.
A quick google searched showed that lots of people have ran into them, and they do not work with people and will ignore your disputes.
that's a good point, there is no way they would cover me if i don't pay them ahead of time. I actually haven't looked at the collection agency's note. I'll ask them to scan it and send it to me so i can take a closer look at it.

I say go with the smaller company if you want overall learning experience. Since they are smaller, they will most likely give you more responsibilities, and hopefully with more responsibilities you'll learn more. Bigger company's names might look better on your resume though.

hmm, somehow i do too, and I feel bad about that. There was a portion where he got into a gang and stole, went to jail, etc. That part was a bit off for me. I wonder if there is a statistic of the % of people who end up being successful compared to the # of people who immigrated.
