Thanks Devistater for the excellent post regarding the issue of multiple UPC's under the same SKU. People often get the terms 'SKU' (Stock Keeping Unit) and 'UPC' mixed up and/or mistakingly use them interchangably.
MadCowDisease, I don't see how my previous post suggests any type of 'fraud'...
that may be a possibility, but in order for the $13.50 price to exist, there would have to be a different UPC for this discontinued package. otherwise even the current promo package would ring up for $13.50. If only we could get a UPC from the OP... :D :D
do you have a 12 digit UPC from the package? The 521221 shows up on the staples website as being the one where you get the photo paper with it. UPC will be what determines the correct package to find :)
some stores are substituting the Pacific Digital 52x24x52 CDRW drives for the kypermedia drive if they run out of the kypermedia. Price is 9.99 out the door... no mail-in rebates. YMMV
Hmm.. I never thought about that. Might give it a try. so going from [ cable modem > 4 port router > hub > 2 computers ] is a combo that will work properly? Would there be any significant performance issues?
This might seem like a dumb question, but I just ordered a Epox 8rda3+ motherboard and it comes with 2 LAN ports... I'll use one of the ports to hook up to my cable modem router while I'd like to use the other port to share the internet connection with my old computer. The old computer has a...

i seriously doubt anyone will be getting the "$15 rebate" for those CD-r's... our store had a correction flyer regarding that rebate because of the misprint in the rebate flyer... it's gonna be $5 instead of $15.
i was able to pick up 2 at $64 each about a week ago at one store but all the other stores i went to didn't even have a spot on the shelf for them. the employees probably took them all like usual.
I think I may have some sort of web browser hijacker program. A few items in my registry that deal with internet explorer had some suspicious websites given... like topsearcher.com . Further research showed that that domain is one commonly associated with browser hijackings. so i guess i'll...
its about damn time! They need to get some new goodies on there... like flight simulator 2004 or somethin. do you think they'll put Office 2K3 in the prize shop anytime soon?
I have a wierd problem here.... for the last couple of days, the http://www.google.com homepage hasn't been working for me. I am using Internet Explorer 6.0 and all it gives me is the default 'The page cannot be displayed" message. All other websites I go to operate properly. Strangely...
