Basically I'm looking for a device that can link to my Blackberry, or any cell phone for that matter, via bluetooth so I can browse the internet and access/create/edit Google Documents. It doesn't have to powerful, just portable. I have an old HP Omnibook 800CT that would work if the batteries...

XP logs in then logs out immediately :(

It's the profile itself or the ntuser.dat is corrupting. If its the admin profile, there isn't much you can do if its the only profile with admin rights. If the ntuser.dat is not present, it may have been changed to user.man, if so the profile will not allow changes and may be kicking you out...

So, is S-Video decent? For instance, viewing on a 15.4" screen via S-Video is comparable to X" TV via RCA? Os is there really no comparison and I'll have to test it to find out?

Yes, it would have to be a Capture card or DVR/PVR that would accept VGA(D-Sub)/Component as input and output would have to be USB/Firewire/PCMCIA. This I already know, what I don't know is what device is capable of performing this with minimal loss of quality and clarity.

Since you have the money, and they have international shipping. Tigerdirect It has good points and bad points, but it will do what you need it to and have room for future upgrades. You will have to purchase optical drives and Windows, video card if you choose to get a different one than you have.
