i "play " with 3d programs ,strata, and bryce for instance , i was just wondering if it would make a difference in rendering speed with lots of slower memory vs a little faster memory , do i have to oc ? sure , i know how , why not go faster ,maybe 4000 is a stretch i realy wouldn't want...

just curious about the benifits of 4gb of pc2100 vs 1 gb pc4000 . i would like to load up with memory, have been wondering about that issue for some time . seems to me , that with 4gb ,you would hardly ever go to the hard drive except to save . even with slower memory the system would have to...

Do something to help the less fortunate this holiday season.

sometimes there are food kitchens that need help , collecting the food , and cookin' ,they always need help with distribution and cleanin' up . you can shake a bell , salvation army , it's only a two hour gig , but here in the windy city, it gets kinda cold .you only have to stand there a while...

pay $5.00 more than the ticket they wil send you a refund for the 5 DON'T cash the check the fine is paid buy they can't close it out because you haven't cashed the check it will not apear will just fade insurance doesnt get notified and you did your duty paying the ticket

Why does it matter that Ramsinks can be smaller but not larger than the ramchip?

if n you don't have interferance prob i don't see why it wouldn't iwas scared something would short out or something i 'd hate to lose a vid brd over a 3.00 heatsink i'd have to ware a pair of tenny shoes kickin' my self in the a$$ but if it ain't hittin' seems bigger is better

i think if you look real close you see parts that stick up and keep the sinks from from seating the way thet are supposed to , one side of my ti4600 was ok the other i had to cut them i didn't see em at first but they stuck up enough to cause interference

cooling suggestions..

i took sorta the un orthadox approach i took all of , my fans out cept my cpu , took the sides off , got a 12" 12v radiator fan leaned it against the side , hooked it to the 5v side of the power supply it isnt' as loud as you might think i got a trmendous amount of dist collecting on...
