I just got the x25-m kingston deal and I was wondering which would be better for me.
I want to use the SSD as the main boot drive so 60gb should be plenty for me. Would I notice a difference in speed if I used 2x 30gb vertex in raid 0 vs. 1 X25-M?
What should I do? Should I keep the 160gb...
I currently have a popcorn hour networked media player and I want to connect my NAS to it. My main router is in a different room, so I need a bridge to connect the NAS to the router.
What I'm thinking is that I am going to connect my Popcorn hour via ethernet to the switch, and I'm going to...
I'm trying to make my machine as quiet as possible. I do have a P180B, which is already pretty quiet, and a Noctua cpu heatsink. What I found was that the HDDs and Gfx card fan were the most noisy.
I just bought a Tunix Sanctum, which looks like it will be what I'm looking for.
Do you...
I'm thinking about putting it in my laptop. I don't really need too much space, so I'm going for the 32gb version for $300.
I actually want faster speeds, and lower noise for my laptop, which is why I'm considering the ssd.
I would like something that can be moved fairly easily, so nothing too big. And under $400. I just want to relax in my chair maybe at a 45 degree angle or so.
Are rocker chairs any good? anything else thats good. I also don't need speakers in the chair as well.
Yes, I'm looking for a D-terminal cable, usually for japanese stuff. Both ends need to be d-terminal ends. I want to get a d-terminal switcher, so first I need to get a d-temrinal to d-terminal cable, which I can't find anywhere.
The only real different between the two is that the Lenovo is around 4lbs and the Dell is 3.3lbs? Will that make a big difference in real life when I'm carrying it around school?
Should I wait for the Dell or just get the Lenovo now?
I do cardio with a treadmill and elliptical, and I'm not really doing anything else, which is why I want to get started with something. I also don't really know exactly what I want or what to do.
I want to start working my abs and arms, and I was wondering if this is the machine to help me do it.
Anybody have any experience with it, or with something like it? Should I get something else to help work my abs and arms?

Would it be better to get the XTI and a $500 lens, XSI and kit lens, or 40D kit lens?
Is it easy to tell the difference between a kit lens and a $500 lens?
What about a $500 lens and a $1000 lens?
I want to plug my HTPC into my Yamaha receiver, but when I plug the onboard optical cable from my mobo to the receiver, the receiver just shows 2 channel audio.
I have the computer set to output 5.1, but I'm not sure it is working.
Do I have to get a better sound card for my Yamaha...
I know you can crop each video one by one, but is there a way to crop multiple video streams at once all at the same crop size? or do I have to export the video and combine them all first, and then crop the one video?
Moved from Computer Help to Software For Windows.

I would rather get the 40d, since the price range isn't too different.
This will be my first DSLR, so I'm not quite sure what to expect yet. As long as the camera takes excellent pics is mostly what I care about. I'm mostly looking toward Canon, since they make generally good stuff. Nikon is...
I'm just wondering which one I should get. Will the picture quality be drastically different between the two? I'll probably just to portrait shots, small items, and maybe landscapes.
Thanks
I have a Q6700 from the Intel retail program, but I sorta want to sell it for the E8400 or E8500, and make a little profit selling the Q6700. Should I do it or just keep the Q6700?
I currently have a WRT54G with the Tomato Firmware installed and I am currently using a wired connection to the router. There is also another computer that is connecting wirelessly to the router as well.
Whenever the wireless computer restarts the computer or turns it on, my wired computer...
I have a couple of choices, and I currently do some video capture, so I do need something fast. I don't really care about backing things up, so if I lose the data; it doesn't really matter. Here are my choices:
- (3) 320 gb Drives in RAID 0 + (1) 320 gb as Primary (for windows)
- (2)...
Would I be able to use Raid if I installed Vista on one drive not using raid, and then used my other drives in RAID?
Can I make my raid using software raid?
I currently have 4 x 320gb Seagate drives 7200.10, and I'm wondering how I should set them up.
- 4x 320gb in RAID 0
or
- 3x 320gb in RAID 0 and 1 with Vista on it not in RAID.
I will be capturing game footage at 720p uncompressed, so would 3 drives be fast enough to keep up with the...
