I like this guys attitude... http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm
I have built hundreds of diesels.
Warm'em up on the dyno, check for leaks, then full power run for about a half hour.
During the 1/2 hour temps(oil and coolent) come down and power goes up.
Suprised to see that on a Michelin.
It is a separation and a blow-out is probable but it could be run quite awhile w/o real issue. My advice?....replace it ASAP.
Separations are caused by a number of things. http://www.google.com/search?h...ead+separation&spell=1
I will miss her.
The shaking of the bangs with that put-on little girl voice... You betcha, golly-gee.
As to healing? This Country is polarized to the max.
Sure glad the religious right was not as active as in the past.

Jumper cables could have an open or high resistance internal connection at one of thier lugs or they were not wiggled around enough to make good contact. Meh!
Skoorb has always come out with the right answer for anything concerning cars in the past so he will figure this one out too. :laugh...
If the "dead" battery was very warm to the touch during the jumping process it prolly has a shorted cell or two. Replace the battery.
Cables have been known to develope high resistance connections internally, like between the cable wire and the lug. Replace cables if there is any doubt about...

The best non-leather gear. Read what they have to say about cordoba nylon... http://www.motoport.com/
That said, my Winter gear is Firstgear 600 denier corcoba nylon.
For gosh sakes post on a m/c forum, like pashnit.com. :D
Meh! Old wives tail imo.
Gutted my Randy Mamola replica to make a low wattage table lamp.
Only the foam around the lower edge had gone bad.
Balclavas get washed after three wearings.
KBC is a good brand.
At present I'm using a cheap AFX fullface in silver...works for now but want another ARAI.
Wore my last ARAI for 12 years, it stayed fresh because I always wore a cotton balaclava....underwear for the head.
Worth the view...
Damage...probably not. Rod bearings seem to be the first thing to go from oil starvation btw.
iamwiz82 may be right about the sending unit. It is very easy to replace and inexpensive.
Dry sump?=expensive. Consider something like this http://www.thinkauto.com/accumulators.htm

Many automotive/motorcycle swap-meets have scads of good used tools that are American made and little used.
We talked about this via PM awhile back. Best of luck, remember, quitting seems to work best with lots of water, no coffee and plenty of mild exercise.
I quit for 13 years then started again behind one cigar. Then it took 5 years to get this present 16 months and dang do I feel good. Got up...
Not really much help but if you do find out who the OEM is...post it here please.
I do not think that UPSs have a UL number like PSUs do that indicates the OEM.
I looked, they don't.
Some of the early Ultra PSUs were quite poor but the new X-Pro units in 600, 800 and 1000W flavors have recieved very good reviews. They are based on the SevenTeam server platform.
This UPS I have no knowledge about. Ultra has stressed a quality line up over the last year and maybe this UPS...
Several guys over at badcaps.net have recapped both the SP and TP with good results.
The platform CWT used for those units was/is a decent one but the use of cheap Fuhjyyus was not a good idea.
Why are Fuhjyyu and many other cheap caps prone to early failure?
The aluminum foil has traces of...
VinDSL acting out like the bull of the woods is why I left the Cases & Cooling Forum. Meh.
Why bother why complain, it just gives this airhead bully attention.
I'm old...an aluminum Republic P-47 Thunderbolt made in occupied Japan.
It had a 12" wingspan and was gas powered. It was given to me at age 7 in 1955.
Wish I still had it.
What model? The almost free X-Connect?
Yes it could go bad. RMA it, keep it for a spare, buy a better PSU.
ASIDE NOTE: The Ultra X-Pro 600, 800 and 1000W units are provided by Seventeam and are good units.
John,
The one time I recommended an Earthwatts I stated that the Enhance ENPxxxxGh unit would be a better bet. At the time I think it was CC that had it for $50 w/o rebate...so what... big deal, the member was looking to power a low demand system and the Enhance was $10~$15 more.
Antec...
This statement is a lie. Where were your posts over the last three years in threads with failing SP/TP Antecs? Threads posted in the old Technical Support, Cases & Cooling and General Hardware. Not once were you offering diagnostics but several times you went out of your way to undermine me and...
I have never claimed to be expert at anything, I rebuild over 400 diesel engines in my working life, never had a failure and never considered myself expert.
The site Admin and the top techs over at badcaps.net go by what they have seen hands on and I do trust their judgement along with my...
Enhance PSUs, the Enhance provided Silverstone units and the Win-Tach built PCP&C Turbo units do use Teapo caps but they are not to be considered "quiet" PSUs. They get needed cooling air. Teapo caps hidden on mainboards where there is little or no air flow can overheat and fail W/O visible...
Just read this review. http://www.jonnyguru.com/review_details.php?id=123 And...buggie software, no 8 pin and expensive but a very good Nipponese cap populated unit.
Since it is so new, you might want to check with Gigabyte. If you do, let us know what they say.
This a just a hunch.
When a desktop PSU is suffering from capacitors that have vented and are drying out, it may take several on-offs of the power switch to cause the caps to warm up enough to become a closed circuit once again. (dried out caps often act like a circuit breaker offering an open...
