I just read the entire thread and am surprised about the lack of statistical knowledge on a forum of geeks. C'mon people :) Oh, and yes, OPS wins games. I'm pretty sure that OPS has a pretty good correlation to runs scored, better than say, BA or even HRs. RBI are very, very team dependent...

Those portable USB flash drives

Anyone know of one of these with a removable SD Card? That way i'd be able to pop it into whatever portable device I have as well as a USB slot. I know the old Sandisk Cruzer had this feature, but it's quite big and old.

KVH fit the team a lot better than Thomas. KVH played hard... i have no idea where his "soft" rep comes from. Check KVH vs Tim Thomas' rebounding #s. One trade too many. I'm so so so sad they made that trade. I really felt the team right before the KVH trade had an excellent chance to go to...

Best of Metallica?

agreed. who the hell produced that thing? Personally not a huge fan of the speed metal of Kill em all, but liked everything else from the 80s, plus the black album, and a select few songs from the Loads. Don't really like St. Anger. Music doesn't feel crafted anymore, if you know what I mean.

Poll: On average, is current music just flat out terrible?

Its harder to find, and I agree, on average new music has less imagination. System of a Down I can handle. But in the mid 90s and before, there was so much experimentation, rock was going in so many different directions (Rage and Korn, grunge/post-grunge, Industrial, electronica, brit-rock...

Knicks beat the Pacers tonite. Big win for them.

Final record prediction: 44-38. As a Knick fan I'd say Kenyon Martin is a better player than Kurt Thomas. Though I do like Thomas' game more than most.

BB has the Toshiba 32a33 for $378.99 shipped. I was thinking about grabbing that one. Anyone know if there are any picture differences betweek the 32a13, 32a33, and 32a43? I don't care about the sound much as I have a home theater system.

Poll: Which Decade Had the Best Music?

I voted 90s, but the 60s we're pretty damn good, too. I enjoy a lot of stuff now, but the same level of quality and experimentation in mainstream music doesn't seem to be there anymore.

I need to monitor a bunch of pages at a glance. I was wondering if there was a way to have different thumbnail-sized pages all on the same page. I couldn't figure it out with HTML. Any ideas how I would to this?

Anyone listen to Green Day?

They definitely changed their sound for Warning, but its still amazingly good. Those guys are still amazing songwriters, they just left the sugar-pop-punk stuff to their followers (Blink, etc.). I'd say that Warning is their 2nd best CD, after Dookie.

What are the specs of your first computer?

Laser 128EX (Laser represent!). It was an Apple compatible machine. We later bought an 800k external 3.5" disk drive. First PC - 386DX-40mhz AMD. 105mb HD. 4mb RAM. 1mb video. DOS 5, Win3.1. Got it cheap in like Sept '92.

Favorite White-Box vendor?

I've got to get 4 cheap servers together (mini-tower, ATA RAID, 1gb RAM, etc) for around $600 each and don't feel like putting them all together myself. Any suggestions on a white-box vendor that could spec out and put some systems together for me?
