I started to transfer most of my videos (8mm/Hi8) to pc using firewire and Windows Movie Maker that came with Win XP Pro.
The setting is Others -> Video for Broadband NTSC (768 kbps). I've tried High Quality and 384 kbps but the quality wasn't that great.
I want to keep the 768 kbps setting but...
Which type of a router would I need to have wireless connection using an iBook Airport card (not Airport Extreme)?

When it begins, I get the error message "autochk program not found - skipping AUTOCHECK"
It stays there for good three minutes and then reboots itself.

Do I need to pay the extra $89 for the Airport extreme card to go online (wireless)? Or can I go online as default without the card?
