still waiting on $40 from Buslink for cdrw bot from BB on BF. I have called - no live person, emailed - still waiting for reply. Best Buy says rebate was validated in early Jan. Any ideas on how to get this money would be appreciated!
the link takes you to a page where it says you can get the 4600 for 449 ar, but when you try to customize or choose recommended systems, you can't get it down to that amount, there seems to be no way to choose a 1 year warranty, to get the cost down.
I bought a Soyo case and a Soyo usb flash drive on BF 2002 from Fry's and it took until the next May to get the rebates from Soyo. And that was after a group of us contacted Soyo's president.

Don't know if they actually need that much, or if it is overkill by the card manufacturer.
It seems the sort order for Hot Deals is by most recent post. Is there a way to sort by most recent topic? Sometimes long dead deals have recent posts, but you can't tell how old the topic is until you open it.

This may be a problem of the different ways that file sizes are calculated and displayed.
ex. my 700 MB cd in drive D: (under windows explorer properties) says it is 713,078,784 bytes, but it also shows as only 680 MB. So, what I am saying is that your files are probably larger than will fit on...
Assuming you have your XP program cd, boot from cdrom, then go into system restore, and choose a date when you know it was working - this worked for me.
I ordered on Monday, Dec. 1 - mine still says received, in process. Madden 04 for PC. I have a feeling it will always be "in process"!
update 12/6 email says it has been shipped - will get in time for Christmas!
I put in a new WD 200 gig, and it ran for a week before giving me this error. I ran the WD diagnostics on it and found no errors. So I rebooted and it came up fine. But now I am getting the disk read error every other boot or so, then I reboot and it seems ok. It does make a clicking sound when...

We had 2 Dell servers that fell, while they were running, when their shelf gave way - about 3 feet to another counter - they just kept on running. One had a piece of the case broken off. They are still running - this is now over a year later.
I see video cards that say 300 watt power supply recommended or required, yet I read of people using lower rated power supplies successfully. Can anyone explain how a video card draws so much power? Isn't it just running a cooling fan, or is the card somehow pulling power through the...
