Just to follow-up. I ended up getting an OTD price-match on the BBuy price by going for the 1-year replacement plan. Instead of saving $40 off of BBuy, I only ended up saving $20. Still, before tax the price/GB is ~ $0.28. (89.99+19.99-40) / (250) = 0.2799 Not bad for an external drive.

Netgear PS121 USB Mini Print Server

I picked one up from CUSA a while back and it's been working just fine for me. It does NOT allow you to access any multi-purpose printer functionality (i.e. scan, copy) but it's alright for being an inexpensive print server from a fairly reliable company.
