Ok thanks guys, i found a great deal on an 80gig wd se. Think i'm going with that:).

Even though they are only 2mb cache? Would running both drives in raid0 with the sata adapter make them faster as well?

? about which hd should i go with...

What would be faster, A 80gig WD 7200rpm 8mb cache hd or 2 WD 40gig 7200rpm 2mb cache in raid 0? I'm debating on what i should do, buy another 40gig or just ditch them all together and go for the 80gig. Your input needed, thanks.

So the true430w eh? Why do you think it is the best? Funny you should say that one because a friend of mine is selling his for $50 shipped.:) I'm just debating on whether or not i should go for it new with a warranty.

Highest safe vcore?

I was running my xp1700 @1.9V for a month with no problems but my temps were 38C idle 48C full load with my slk800. I backed it down to 1.8V now cause i had to lower my fsb due to ram instability. If your cooling is sufficient , 1.9V shouldn't hurt anything but others will disagree;)

Whats the best bench tests ( freeware ) exept SiSoft , 3Dmark ??

I like the new aquamark bench though i do prefer to use 3dmark2k1 still.

As in d"UT"3c , the stepping of the chip. The UT's run at 1.6V stock while a LT runs at 1.5V.

Nah i wouldn't if he refunds your money. Then he did the right thing and these things can happen. On the other hand if he doesn't....:disgust:

Thanks:) I have a Ut that can do 2.3ghz at 1.8V now, but he claims his can do it at 1.75V. I'll find out soon. Then i'll sell the one i don't want.;)

any reason to upgrade CPU on my 8rda+

If your board can do 200fsb+, go for a xp1700tbred b or an older barton(new ones have multi locked) and o'c to a 3200+:).

Hello, i have the kt3 ultra. It's a rock solid board.:) You just need to set the fsb to 133 in the bios and it should read xp2100 again.

A friend of mine has these 2 cpu's for sale: AXDA2200DUV3C 9503442281903 JIUHB 0319TPMW 1700DUT3C JIUHB, didn't give me the rest of the stepping Which one do you think would be the best bet to o'c? He says he has gotten both to 2.3ghz around 1.85V. I'm thinking the 1700 would be my best bet...

AMD Thoroughbred/Barton questions

It probably can but check the asus site for any bios updates you may need to run either of the 2. The Barton would be a better deal but i would definately upgrade that ram to at least pc2700 so you can run sync with the cpu.
