well non inverting is easy, any amplification is done with noninverting... i mean, realistically, inverting simply amplifies as well, i just need some application I can simplistically explain

I'm currently working on a lab report, and it was an Op-Amp lab, and the question is about applications. Could you guys help me out, some specific examples of when an inverting configuration is useful and when a non inverting configuration is useful.

video card problem

ATI AIW 9700 pro issue

I just reformatted and reinstalled windows, and installed all my drivers, and now the TV aspect of multimedia center won't let me select anologue input, which is just cable TV. It's as if it doesn't even detect the tuner. Any ideas?

Weird Problem defying all science and reason, and perhaps even magic

hard drive does spin, no, only one harddrive, no squealing really, and it's the only thing on that cable... the hard drive is only a few months old, it had better not be going... I feel as though it may be the video card, because sometimes when it does finally boot, the VPU fails and the video...

Weird Problem defying all science and reason, and perhaps even magic

Ok, so when I do a cold boot, say, in the morning, after the computer's been off all night, everythign is fine until the welcome screen... in fact i never even see the windows welcome screen, everyhting goes black, completely unresponsive, and the monitor goes to sleep. The odd thing is this...

virus issue

That doesn't seem to be the same problem... they're still labelled .exe. And as far as the explorer thing goes, I'm not sure why it works. Maybe because it's integrated into XP as opposed to being a stand alone .exe. In any case, i cant run mcaffee or norton, any other ideas?

i did an online virus check and it didnt' find teh virus causing this particular problem (although it did find several others), so i have no way of getting the removal instructions. Do you remember what it was called?

hey guys, i've got a problem im tryin to fix on a friends computer, and figured i'd ask. She got a virus, which she tried to remove manually, and now the computer no longer recognizes .exe files. I can not run any programs, although the internet browser still works. Anyone know how to fix this?

I had something like this happen. Some ridiculous little girl drove her bike across my lawn. I was like hell no, im not standing for this. I took her down hard, face in the dirt. Lets just say she didn't bike across MY yard anymore.
