I think they're working on a way to notify when that event happens, or at least a way to check the last "check in" for each system. Would be nice to have.

Yep, only one copy per PC, unless there's some tweaking (registry, etc) that I don't know about. For the record, I've got it on 5 active machines right now. Might be able to double that soon.

They're updated quite often at Free-DC (within an hour or so, from what I've seen). Regarding bandwidth, Caferace said it takes ~20 MB per month (and since it's essentially just sending tracert requests, that completely believeable), so that shouldn't be too much of a concern. I'll be...

A 5 degree drop hints that you may need more fans or better cable routing. That always helps anyway tho. 70c is way over where you should be. You shouldn't be hitting more than the low 50s under load, even in a hot environment, so you need to figure out what is causing the excess. Most likely...

Seti will never end?

Well that's a pretty big step. Not saying that it's nessicarily a bad thing that it's lasted this long. The TeAm has done some amazing work on it, and I defineatly don't want to devalue that, it was just starting to seem like an infinite thing.

New to AMD

Having built over 100 systems with MSI boards and no issues, my vote goes to them. You can't beat their Live Update driver update utility for speed either. Asus, DFI, Abit, Chaintech, etc will all most likely serve you well tho. Go with whatever package has the price/features/extras that best...

Seti will never end?

I just returned to DC after about 8 months of hiatus. SETI 1 is still alive and kicking, from what I see. That puts it about a year and a half over what was the expected end. Are they just repopulating data, or is everyone hesitent to move to BOINC for some reason that I haven't seen? I have...
