    I don't know how it is where you are from, but 9 out of 10 times, in Bayonne (NJ) where I live, all you have to do is show up in court, and the officer almost never does, and the tickets get thrown out. Just go to court, it may be worth your time. Tom

    I'm stuck in a catch 22 here. I have a Gateway computer that came with an OEM copy of XP Home. I wasn't receiving any product activation messages, which is normal when I reinstall on my Gateway. Now when I try to login with a limited account that I created for my family, I get the message...

    Don't believe what you hear about 1and1. I've had them since they first came out, and I have never had any problems what-so-ever. I also registered a domain name with them, and haven't had any problems with that either. I also use godaddy, and they are great as well. Tom

    When you set the static IP and ping the 192.168.0.1 (router?) what result do you recieve? Request timed out or Destination host unreachable. Also, when you do an ipconfig what are your results? Tom

    I agree. Also, check if there have been any hard drive issues in event viewer. Given the processor, i think it's fair to assume the HD is a bit older. Check if your getting any read/write errors. Tom

    I agree. I just passed my CCNA 2 weeks ago. I used Cisco Press Books, and I bought 2 2501's and a 1912, and it was the best thing I could've done. Before I bought the stuff, I was using SemSim, which is a pretty good simulator, but it doesn't allow you to do anything other than the set tests...
