    Research , development , production , advertising and distributing it all costs a bundle. $500 is fair considering the crowd the product is aimed at , enthusiasts or ppl with no cash restraints.

    And there you have it , upgrading is the way to go. Never buy a low end processor no matter how cheap , you can usually find a P4 thats faster and cheaper than a Celeron these days. If you can , switch over to AMD , look at my system specs for examples :)

    EVGA has excellent quality cards, just dont buy that crusty old 5950 , ewwww , crust........... Go with a 6800 GT or 6800 Ultra from EVGA if you have the cash . It comes bundled with Far Cry too :)

    I just recieved that Sapphire 9800 Pro. Installed , image quality is amazing , until I enter any game or 3D related thing. Checkerboard patterns appear on the textures and all over the screen. Its not a heat related problem either. Anyone know info or a fix on this prob ?
