Thanks. I'll try that. Looks like I'l have to install it first though...tried running cfdisk at the CLI and got a an error but fdisk did run. I want to download cfdisk though and see how that goes.... I'll post later today with results.... Taz

I have a 2nd hd I've installed in my Linux box (running a copy of Xandros 2.0). How to I create a partition on it with Linux? Also, as this drive is going to be used as a backup for my data, what would be the best format to partition with? ext2, ext2, reiserfs, etc?? Thanks in advance for any...

Sharing files between different distros

VNC problem on Fedora

I am using vncserver on Fedora by typing the following command: vncserver -depth 16 geometry 800x600 I can connect to this box from Windows using vnc or Ultravnc just fine except that when I connect I am in what I consider just a text mode....all I have is a terminal...

Poll: Would you Switch to Mac OS X if you could run it on PC hardware?

Intalling Linux from ISO's

It's starting to look like burning to cd is the way to go. I just thought if it was possible, and easy, I would prefer to go the route of installing from the iso off hard drive instead......but it doesn't look like it would save time but take more time!!! Oh well, off to burn some cd's...
