Did I mension that this is the phone that set the standard for picture phones?
The one by whitch all others are compared.
Frankly the newer ones still are not quite as good with signal stregnth.

Yes the remote is a bit scary but I have a similar remote for my DVD player, the player is quite nice and loaded with features at half the price of my Sony.

I got the X1050 the day after thanks giving and I though that was a good deal, it's even cheaper now!
PS the Emachine laptops are actually CLEVO's, they should be perfectly good systems.
if you don't mind a refurb, you can get more for your money, $800 is a bit pricy for an e-mail checker.........
