Weird thing is, my Confirmation order is $13 cheaper than my Acknowledgement total. The unit price is the same... it looks like the math is screwed up with my Confirmation order.
Mine came out to $13 cheaper as well :)
Did ya'll apply for Dell credit? I did and mine went down $13...
The fan attaches to the top of the SLK-947 with pins. So you have to buy the heatsink and a fan, such as a Vantec Tornado or a quiter one if thats what your looking for.
By the way, where on NewEgg did you find 1GB of Kingston PC3200 for $120? The price I only saw was $198 for 1GB.
As far as I know, not many motherboards recognize the mobiles. Just adjust the FSB and multiplier to whatever you want. Doesn't matter what it 'says' it is, my 1800+ is running at 2.1 GHz and it is still recognized as a 1800+, even though it is running much faster than that.
Zrl201, I would definatly go with the 2400 mobile since you are not going to overclock to the extreme. I have seen the 2400 hit overclock speeds right up there with the 2500, and 2600 mobiles.
I have a Radeon 9800 Pro running this game just fine with the Highest settings. Havn't tried playing with AA/AF, don't have time to enjoy the scenery when fraging so much ;)
Picked up 2 of these for my brother and I. We havn't had a single crash or problem on my system with a Radeon 9800 Pro or on his with a Geforce4 Ti4200. Great game & deal.
At Case-Mod.com they have the blue and black colored Chieftec/Chenming cases for $39.99 not including shipping. My shipping came out to $17.54 shipped to Texas for a total of $57.53. No PSU but it does come with 2 case fans. Not really that hot but it's cheaper than I've seen in awhile for this...
Just a note, I found this on PriceWatch.com and they already took it off so A2ZComp.com probably wont be far behind.
Nevermind lol, I put it on the third page and thought it was the first, it's still up on PriceWatch.com
http://www.a2zcomp.com/buy.asp?REF=1&SKU=100550 This is probably an error on the part of A2ZComp.com but maybe they will honor it for awhile, not sure. I clicked buy and it came up as "POWER COLOR (Sapphire) RADEON 9700 PRO 128MB DDR AGP 8X DIRECTX 9.0 (PWRD BY ATI)" and it rang up as $25.00...
If price is your biggest concern then the 5900 should be your choice, no tax and free shipping. However, if you plan on playing the latest DX9 games next year, choose the 9800np.
I have an XP 1800+, FIC AU13 nForce2 motherboard and Kingston HyperX 512MB PC2700 memory running at 2-2-2-5. My system runs fine at 12x169=2030MHz but when I try 170FSB or above my system won't boot and all I get are beeps from my computer. After I reset CMOS everything is fine. So what do you...
