Centon has lower quality compared with Kingmax. I heard that Centon's memory is not compatible with some Dell laptops. I will buy one of Crucial/Kingston/PNY/Kingmax to take less risk.
U-30182-RV1 is Optorite DD0201, not NEC ND1300. In my experience, Optorite worked very well. I met no problem even using cheap DVD-Rs. It has 8 MB buffer while most of other 4X DVD burners have only 2 MB buffer. So its potential ability to upgrade via updating firmware is better.
