Thats on the same drive but its not showing up for dual boot. So i reinstalled windows 7 and i am now installing the updated drivers off the mobo disk. Now i hope this will in turn fix the viedo card problem but i highly doubt it since it didnt even try loading it prior.

Get rid of XP 64? I dislike vista but xp64 has very little support out there with games, drivers and programs so I went with Vista64. No problems at all with it besides the fact it uses up 1.8gigs of ram with all non essential services disabled.
In the box you got from Asus with your card, you should have a Utilities CD. Pop that in and install the Utilities. In that selection there will be an option to install Smart Doctor. That program regulates your fan speeds and GPU speeds.

Yes they are. I'm paranoid about having my vid cards burn out on me. So keeping it around 100f imo isn't too cold :). Though I haven't seen anyone yet running their HD4870 at 55% fan speed so I don't know the standard temps at that speed to tell you if its too low ^^.
