When I plug directly into my modem I get about 15ms ping to my gaming server.. When I go through the router(with no other computers connected, or people using wireless) I get 45-50ms. I connect directly through CAT-5 cable, not wireless.

I determined the stability with sandra stress tests and other high graphic benchmarks.
