Thanks much PerryG It's well under 100C i can assure you =) 3Dmark score of 1974 overall(old slow comp) The high poly test did run better. When I bench it alone i get a N/A for score so... I take it that's cause it's a demo LoL!

BH6 P3 700e upgrade

All BH6's have a 1/4 PCI divider. It is turned on ANYTIME you seclect the 133 fsb.

UT S3TC realization

How is the FPS under the new beta D3d driver with S3TC for Unreal Tournament?

As stated above, If you want performanc and or s3tc. Stick with LOKI. These drivers are completly BETA. D3D cuts perfomance without s3tc enabled by around 1/3 from that of the UT 436 patch. Just use Loki's OGL until Epic get's caught up with Loki btw just for puree speculation. Has anyone...

Cooling a GF2 MX

Gonna do it with a spare TNT2u fan/heatsink I have sitting around. Fits fine with no mod's but... Any questions on how I'm gonna power it? Few MX's have power supplies on them and mine fits into that catigory =):cool: 5V

Geforce 2 MX DDR vs Geforce 2 MX SDR?

SDR is faster at any resolution. SDR board has 128 bit memory bus. DDR has 64 bit memory bus. DDR board is cheaper. SDR board has slightly better performance... buy the SDR board...

Video Driver for TNT2U: What is the best one for gaming and where do I find it?

Geforce2 MX which one?

Don't get the DDR board. Tt uses DDR memory, but only a 64 bit bus. All the other cards use SDR memory and a 128 bus. The larger bussed normal sdram is faster than the ddr ram. btw some1 correct me if i'm worng on any of this. Also one would assume that the ddr would be cheaper. Altho it's...

TNT2 Ultra Question

i've found the 3xx series work best. starting with detonater 368, work your way through the 3xx series. don't waste time with anything past the 3xx series. it'll just slow you down.

the sad truth is that intel dosn't NEED to release a 100 fsb celery... think about it, it preforms close enough 2 compete with the p3. not only that BUT ALSO in the US the celery HAS NO COMPETITION!!! not enough OEM's are made with the DURON(in our market) to justify having the chip go...

Poll: how many case fans do you have?

4 92 in 92 out p2 fan tnt2u fan btw... dose the 18inch oscilating fan beside my comp work??? the saddest part about this guys is that you can't even tell when the oscilating fan is on LoL! the other fans are SO WORN OUT LoL!!! not that loud tho... just kinda wierd heh...

doubling up fans: does it help????

never done it, but i'll answer for you. yes it works better than one fan, but understand the basic principles behind it. it's not very effecient. think of the fan, just a multibladed propeller. ok... now what most people don't know is that the most efficient propeller is 1 with 1 blade! YES...

sure you can stress even the new 1's alot. try running UT in software mode(i know some1 with a duron 600 at 900 and dosn't have a vid card).
