My new setup

That's an option, but this board is actually very full-featured, more so than the DDR2 alternatives I would have gone for...I think I would actually have to pay more to get the same features in a DDR2 board! I'm also thinking I could probably live a long time with 4gb...

4GB! I hadn't thought of that at all...If I go DDR2, it will max out the mobo, though - I would have to switch to DDR3 to upgrade to 8GB... But who cares, if there's a performance gain from 2 to 4, it's a modest price hike, especially if I go DDR2 at the same time...2 x 2GB Corsair XMS2 Xtreme...

Poll: BMW vs. AUDI

BMW. Though Audi makes good cars, I think the BMW's are the best in the world. Great handling, power and reliability. Heck they even cut part costs by 40% or so, this year.

Well, what a coincidence!

Never really felt the need to voice a concern before this, so I never registered...I've been quite happy with Anandtech up to now. I hope some of the staff realize it's a slippery slope they're approaching.

I would get over it, if it had said "advertisment" somewhere. If I read a review I expect it to be completely objective, this is just crossing that line IMO.

Jeez...It's NOT the point. The wishlist is obviously pure commercial for newegg. I take the lack of serious replies as an indication that I'm not completely off base.

Pliablemoose already posted the link. And yes, I signed up just to write this. I've read anandtech's excellent reviews for years though, and it didn't bother when they started the 'keyword advertising' in articles, but I feel this is going too far. It doesn't really matter that newegg is...

All the items on the Anandtech staff's wishlist is available at Newegg! Who would have thought it! And they even linked each one to newegg... Seriously, they could at least warn it was a sponsored commercial....
