    The way I see it is this; Rambus learned from their mistakes in the past. I've always loved Rambus. But prices were too high. With this new XDR technology the prices will be lower, but we will get higher performance for the buck. DDR-2 is scaled to be very expensive.

    Athlon XP 2500+ at 400mhz FSB?

    Nevermind, can anyone please tell me how to raise the FSB to 400 mhz and if I need to change the memory timings or are my 2.5 latency sticks good as they are. And do I need heat spreaders on the ram?

    I'm currently in same dillema. But from what I see, AI7 is better: 1. Its redesigned a. No more video card/ram frustrations b. Better chipset cooling 2. New BIOS technologies and no more voltage regulation problems For $10 more why not?

    I've considered that, but this will be my last upgrade for years, so I want to get the best, and why waste $200 on a p4 when for $217 I can get a 2.8 Prescott? So, I'll wait till Feb 2nd and get that instead of wasting money for a mid range cpu that will last me a year or so.

    Alright these replys are confusing the heck out of me. Case 1: XP 2500+ A. Multiplier locked. FSB 333. Bump it up to 400. What do you change the voltage to? Case 2: XP 2500+ B. Multiplier unlocked. Change FSB333 to 400. What should your multiplier be set at and voltage be set at?
