AH thats a great idea, even better since Microcenter is right near me. What could be a legitimate excuse for returning ram though?

I'm trying, to RMA a mod on thier forums has to respond to you on their forum. It's been 3 days and still no luck. Plus I dont know if I can survive without computer for 1 or 2 weeks while they send me a new one.

My Corsair XMS PC-3200C2 512MB crapped out, I get nothing but errors in memtest, and everything I download gets corrupted. Anyways I need some new ram, I was thinking of doing DCRam but I dont have a DCRam mobo would it still work (I plan to upgrade to it later). If so what is the best deal I...

Ok I run the memtest for about 20min. it gave me Pass:1 Fail:322 (and counting). I am assuming my memory has gone bad? It's Corsair XMS 3200C2 512MB, is there anything I can do? I mean I overclocked my system in the past so that could be why it flanked out?

If that where to work would it fix my current so called corrupted files, or would I have to redownload them? The reason I ask if because I'm downloading a big 1GIG beta AGAIN, I would not download it since the corrupt one is still in the recycle bin... Thanks Another question, my computer...

I am having a big problem, for some reason half the stuff I download and try to install some how gets corrupted. No it cant be coincidence, this has happend from downloading from ati and even file planet, I wont even mention usenet. What could possible be causing this, bad memory?

I know it doesnt, thats why I thought of upgrading. So 8X AGP + dual channel ram arent that great of a boost in performance are they?

Hmm I just might get another stick then. What is this dual channel ram thing I have reading about, suppose you have two 512mb sticks u can get higher fsb or something? Sorry I'm a little illiterate can someone fill me in?

I currently have: P4 2.53 Asus P4B533-E Corsair 512MB PC3200RAM WD 100GIG HDD ATI AIW Radeon 9800 Do you guys think it's worth upgrading, like with the new dual channel ram, and new fbs and so on?
