thanks for the responses...i have a retail copy so it sounds like it shouldnt be a problem, i also read somewhere else about the "slate being wiped clean" after 120 days as far as the hardware check goes...anyone else know about that?
building a new computer and want to know if I can remove xp from old puter and install into new one? will microsoft allow me to authenticate or will they shut new computer down? need an explanation on how this process works....thanks
Hey all...I was looking for an answer to my difficulty in creating a dos boot cd that will also contain 2 files needed for a bios flash. I tried a couple different ways with nero, i tried using a floppy as the image source and then add the 2 extra files....i get a disc with all the files on it...
Ive got an asus 8420 and the fan still works but i think its on its way out...the monitor alarm goes off every now and then because of low rpm's...i guess i should probably replace mine too before it kills my card....
Just wanted to get some opinions about performance of different nvidia drivers. I noticed that with my oc'd ti4200 (41.09 driver) I got around 9700 3d2001 marks, while with the new 53 drivers i dropped to around 8900. wondering if this is an actual performance drop or just the fact that nvidia...
