Question about dying lawn

Easy to see, Pull on the grass, Grab a couple of hand fulls, and pull up, if it pulls up like turf..Its Grubs, Grubs, Freaking Grubs. They eat the roots, so your grass will pull up easy. If not..water.. My money is on Grubs.

AMD Dongle

Thanks guys, The way the wires are interconnected it looks like both should be used. It came with the card, so I was not sure. No instructions, and I have not seen one like it before. I have a new PSU coming, where I can use one straight from the Unit.

AMD Dongle

Sorry for the dumb question. I bought a R470 a year or so back(im guessing.) It has a 6 pin connector wire that came with it, which is easy enough,but the other end has 2 of the flat 4 pin Connectors for some reason. Do I need to hook up one of those to the PSU, or does both of them need to be...

I looked today, It said Pentium Dual core T4400. It seemed to be running ok today, but I think when it has a backup to do, everything else is slow til it is done. We have it on a backup system. I am the employer, so I would prefer to save that money, no need for anything special to use just for...

What board for i5-2500, $150 or less?

I have this one, and the gigabyte z68 series board. I have always had good luck with MSI, and it has been a good board..I am not an extreme overclocker, and just like to mess around..Its a good board IMHO.

6400?hy does my kinston super X 1066 show as

Why does my kingston super X 8500, 1066 show as PC2 6400 on cpuid..I have overclocked it to 450, and it still shows 6400..It should be 8500 Lee

floppy light stays on, is recognized by xp, cant read floppies

Also take the cable off, and look at the pins. You might have broke some installing cable

Memory for MSI K8T Neo-FIS2R ????

I used Corsair 3200LLpro on 2 systems, and Geil 3200 cheapo on the 3rd, because I di not have anything else to use at the time. I benched it stock with the corsair, and geil, and found no difference, But I do not overclock much. I usually stick with the corsiar to be on the safe side....

I guess what I am talking about is things like address books, photos, some apps, games etc, that are on the old drive, would need to be transferrred to the new drive, but I was wondring if the old hard drive would show up enough to move those things to the new one. Basically have the old...

I was thinking about building a new system for the house, and was wondering if it is possible to build a new system, and put the old hardrive in it as a 2nd hardrive, so that you dont have to reinstall every app.. Is this doable?

When I had my Asus K8, It could be anything that would go wrong, but mostly it was video issues. If you have a buggy board, anything can popup. When I went to the msi, everything cleared up, and I have not had the panels off since. I got the bad ASUS on my first build, and msi cleaned it all up...

Thats exactly why I have been telling people for two omnths to go to the MSI..I have not had a single problem with the MSI, and I have built three since the first of the year..A64+MSI=reliablility.Period.

Newbie to PC build- critique PC parts

The thing is, I did not have a brand loyalty when I started. My Asus K8 was my first build, and I would think with Asus reputation, I would be getting a mobo that should work out of the box. I do not believe in trying to save a few pennies at the risk of parts failure. I had nothing but problems...

Ive built three of these with msi mobos, and One of those was because I purchased a bad Asus K8. Ill stick withMSI. I had more problems than I can count with the Asus, and not a single problem with MSI.

If you are not going to overclock, there is no reason not to use the original HS. In my systems it stays pretty close to 32c-34c idle, and does not get over 40c load. It runs very cool as is. The two rams that I have used are the geil 3200 value, and the corsair 3200llpro. I have not had any...

Flat Screen monitor ok for gaming at high fram rates?

I would not hesitate to buy one. I have 2 samsung 19"191T. I just prefer the lcd. I'll take a little loss on image, but to be honest I do not see that big of difference.

Swaping same chipset mobos, do I need to format/reinstall WinXP?

I replaced my asus k8 witha MSi K8, and replaced the 9600pro with a MSI 5900, and she still booted striahght up into windows. I got one blue screen about the video drivers, but once I took them out. I have not had aproblem since.

I know on the MSI boards, there is a line in the bios about chassis intrusion. You can enable or disable it. Might want to check around in the bios to see.
