    I agree that the $100 is much better spent on upgrading the mobo/CPU. A motherboard with the ATI 780G chipset would easily run 1080P HD Video. Newegg is currently has a couple of 780G mobos combos with the AMD BE-2400 for around $100.

    Does the fan on the card spin up when its power on? IF not it could be a dead card. Try unpluging your hard drive, CD drive, etc and see if it boots. Also try both DVI ports, it might a monitor issue with it not getting a proper signal from the video card and remaining in sleep mode.

    I don't think any one besides AMD have been able to reproduce the TLB bug, I would just disable the TLB fix and take my chances. If you're using Linux, there is a kernel patch for the TLB bug which I hear only reduces overall performance by 1%.
