    I'm curious how the current TV's do with DVI-HDMI conversion. Will the screen show 1280x1024 properly (my current one doesn't but works fine with a VGA connection)? Should I just find a decent older one that has a DVI connection instead?

    I was sleeving PSU cables and i didn't push some of the connectors back in enough. When i turned the computer on i smelt burning as the wires shorted out, killed my floppy drive but i got it before it hit the DVD drives.

    I used a dremmel to do my case fans and let me tell you that they love to get a hold of plastic and run with it. Plus if you slip you could nail the mobo. You just need to get the knife very hot so that it does more melting than cutting, i think.

    you need a blow torch, use propane. I think the problem is your not melting the plastic enough.
