Snowboarding tomorrow! Need tips

What do you mean no fun? I went snowboarding for the first time this year, and I had a BLAST. It's frustrating at first, but once you get a hang of it, and you get better and better each time you go down the mountain it's really fun and rewarding. I think I picked it up really really fast...

I found an answer to my own questions...so those who want to know... http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=304669 You can do it as long as you are not using a docking station, and you turn off the laptop screen. Pretty cool that it is doable, this gives me another reason not to...

Dual Monitor Laptop Question

I am looking at buying the UL80vt as reviewed on Anandtech this week, via suggestion from the other topic I started. I noticed that it has a VGA output and a HDMI output. Does this mean you could have a VGA monitor plugged in and HDMI monitor plugged in..effectively having two monitors...

I need a new laptop...

The UL80vt does seem pretty sweet. I wonder when they will have one on display at BestBuy and such. Being able to switch between graphic cards is genius in so many ways. But...180 price difference between that and a mac..thats not really that much for such a large item as a laptop.

I guess the high resolution is more important. I really would like the laptop so I can do light travel and sit with it on the couch, but then be able to hook it up to a monitor. I like to have a lot of desktop space and the bigger the resolution the better. The gaming is not so important...if...

I would think that even the basic laptops these days could handle office and web browsing multi tasking with ease. He bought a HP desktop a bit ago and the HD has crashed a few times...how is their quality.

You really don't need a guide to get up Mt. Fuji. In the popular season its pretty crowded and I am sure you will meet some people on your way up. If Sumo is in season..deff go.

Organic food is no healthier, study finds

Ddin't read the whole thread but obviously its about the chemicals that are not in organic food. Organic Milk, Meat, and Vegies taste 1000x better than the alternative. Seriously..I always hated milk..had some organic milk and it tasted like candy.

Nice bicycles are stupid expensive.

Err sorry..notice in the rest of the paragraph I wrote I said single gear. there is a difference. Fixed gear does have merit in a flat terrain. Single gear does not have the benefits of a fixed gear.

It has been pretty much covered but I'll pop in here just cause I love bikes. I have an entry level road bike. If you want any kind of good road bike its going to start at 650. If you have never been on a road bike, then you don't know what the difference is between a cruiser from wallmart...

Anyone else enjoy movies more second time around?

A few movies this has been true. I hated Magnolia the first time I watched it, but now think it is a great film I really didn't see the fuss of the Big Lebowski, but now I think its an amazing film Same with Nepoleon Dynamite I think strange/peculiar films warrant a second watching...

I agree with pretty much everything you said there...it will be a good long time. Some people say US will never be good, but in like 15-30 years I can see a mass improvement....and then from there some real competition. I don't know if it will ever be possible to have premier players play...
