on my abit kv7 i believe the temp was measured on the power mosfets so my case temp was reported was rather high. normally 50's-60's c. with no airflow over the chips they got up to 70's c. so if your chipset is the kt600 it may measure temps in the same place?
if you heat it up with a blow dryer or a heat gun it should loosen up and come off easier, but there is always a chance of ruining your card.

since i had to install raid drivers for my raptors it set them to h: and that is my windows drive. the drive letter doesnt mean anything, other than most people are used to c: being the boot drive.

sennheiser makes some good headphones, the PC150's are about $50-60 and are really popular.
i do have to add that i have gotten some dolby 5.1 headphones and that helps alot as far as pinpointing sounds in games.
