Hey guys,
I'm going to be redoing www.cultmetal.com site, where users submit pictures and information on metal releases. And was wondering if anybody has any suggestions on what kind of platform/environment to use that would be a simple and nice solution for this.
Is this something that...
Hey All,
I'm working with a large document in which I need to get rid of some junk at the end of each line of text.
For example:
Concerts - Alan Jackson 2006/11/07 22:17:07
Concerts - Anthrax 2007/02/13 22:01:18 2007/02/13 22:01:18
Needs to become:
Concerts - Alan Jackson...
ok so i'm looking for even possibly something along these lines, but i dont want to encrypt, i want it to substitute with code for mdash
oops forgot the link : http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/9234
Yea but this has to be client-side, i cant actually modify the environment that i'm in... so the script would have to be outside of the actual code that's giving/accepting the data.
I'm working on a web-based system where I need to modify data submit-text boxes.
When editing data that has a "?" in breaks the info unless it's converted into XML supported "& #8212;" (take out the space).
So I'm looking to somehow convert all the "?" to mdash inside the text boxes...
I've been looking around where to post this, and I've figured after coming here for a bunch of years, I'd post here too.
I've got a project lined out for which I would need somebody with some Ajax knowledge to work with me.
The position is not paid (yet), but quite possibly the project...
The blog is pmptoday.com
There's plenty of news daily. There is definitely a bunch of rehashing going on with many products coming out today that are just like the unit that came out yesterday but with more features. But the market is growing, and there's a lot of new players that bring new...
Hey all,
We're looking for somebody who is online very often and can translate short articles from Chinese to English for a news blog.
Most articles are pretty short, and we need the general info provided in the originals.
Most articles have to do with portable MP4 players, so I figured...
We are looking for an editor interested in working for a blog covering Portable Media Player news and events.
The position involves gathering news on everything related to PMP (new unit releases, company coverage, event reports, industry news, etc.)
We are probably talking a couple hours...
i just look kinda looked at it and seemed that
1) it was gona be a pain trying to screw the middle part on, having to go between the blades
2) it was very close over the DIMM slots making it difficult to remove ram.
as for the deal above i know that it's fx-60 we're talking about, just...
is anybody using the fan that came with this deal? it's pretty ridiculous and a pain to put on... any suggestions on another fan (that might hopefully be in Fry's cause it's just down the block)
thanks
many thanks
next time i'll make a little checkbox submit-form for her or something.. seems like people have an easier time with just making a couple selections and clicking "send" rather then typing heh

Hey all,

I'll post some conclusions based on the data when the project is done.
Thanks a bunch!

Does anybody know if any of these progs/utils are actually decent/of any use?
Or should I just wipe it all?
thanks
