It has been suggested that I re-purpose an I7-860 PC for grandson's gaming. I'm NOT a gamer and don't know the issues. Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 motherboard has a PCI Express X16 2.0 slot. I read that graphics cards do NOT saturate a X16 2.0 slot??????? Considering adding GTX 1050 graphics card...

IE 8 Window Size

When I launch IE 8 from desktop shortcuts or quick launch shortcuts, the window always launches less than full screen. I would like them to always launch as full screen. Is there a way to configure for this outcome? Thanks

WD Caviar Black Good for Raid0???

The benchmarks from the extremetech article didn't show the raid0 advantage over a single drive that I expected! Soo much to learn and so very little time! Thanks for your comments!

Gigabyte H55 MB, Set 1.35V Memory?

Since this is 1.35V memory, if the motherboard does not autoset and defaults to 1.5V, any potential damage to memory before it is manually set to 1.35V? Thanks

BIOS SPD/Geil Label Mismatch

Well, I set the bios to 2.5-6-3-3 and ran memtest86 v3.0 overnight without an error! Thanks for all of the help guys. I continue to learn a lot!
