Windows Media Center video playback issue

I installed this: http://www.majorgeeks.com/Win7codecs_d5959.html And it fixed my problem. And solved some others that were annoying me as well. Whats strange is, I know these codecs were installed; I'm guessing the installer here also associates WMC as the primary program for them.

Problem with artifacts

Since you physically moved the computer and now you are having issues, it could be your card became loose. Pull out your vid card and reset it. Check the PSU connectiong as well.

I would like some opinions on upgrade.

Thanks deton. I think I am going to mmove forward with this unless someone can bring to light a review or something on severe bottlenecking of SLI cards on a 3500+... Of course, if anyone else has differing opinions on the hardware here I am thinking of getting, please by all means let me know.

The issue here for going to watercooling is completely environmental. I am not getting good airflow due to the fact my wife forced me to put my PC in a computer armoire and the airflow stinks. My current vid card is crapping out on me due to this. I am not that interested in what I can get in...

Neverwinter Nights 2 Closed MP beta signups open

You where right on Snapster. I had my button as "Submit" instead of "Button," and therefore it wasn't correctly passing the information to the webpage. So simple yet so freaking hard to debug lol. Thanks for everyone's help.

Thanks Snapster. The problem I am having is the page will not reference the welcome.htm for some reason. Both firefox and IE won't do it; when you click on the button it just doesnt do anything - the original page just reloads without the information, such as username and email, in it anymore...

Thanks for the answer. I understand the location.href now, that is a big help. However, changing the code to: if (strUsername == strCustomerOne && strPassword == strPasswordOne) { document.location = 'welcome.htm'; } Did not work either. Is that code wrong as well?

Yeah this is homework hehe :) this isnt a real webpage. By not working, it is not laoding the next page 'welcome.htm'; I know the if statement is coming up true because if I insert a different code - like a window.alert - it works.

Wireless Card Adapter for Dad's Laptop

I had the same problem with my laptop (a Compaq). It turns out there was a button that turned the wireless card on and off on the side of the lappy that comes on default off position. Boy did I feel stupid going through the litanny of troubleshooting items before I realized it.
