Should I be worried about this hard drive?

Used in "very good" condition on Amazon. The SATA to USB adapter for the enclosure also had similar coloring, so it has me concerned (but the price was really good).

That could be an interesting idea if I can get a $75 off coupon to apply. Are the Atom tablets just as smooth with Win 8 as the ARM tablets are with Win RT? I had a really poor experience with the original Atom in a netbook.

Is it worth upgrading my Intel 80GB X-25M G2?

What happens if it's in IDE vs AHCI mode? I have tried switching to AHCI mode before but then I lose the ability to boot from my SSD. I don't know if this is a function of motherboard or the fact that I installed Windows when the controller was set to legacy/IDE mode.

How well do older digital cameras stack up?

How do I get into something like that? Whenever I look at the career sites for Dell, IBM, HP, Apple, etc. I can't seem to find anything relating to MEs. Whether it's servers, desktops, laptops, phones, data centers - it's all something that I would like to be involved with.

What are some products at home that suck/drive you crazy/could be way better?

For example, say you hate getting crumbs everywhere with your toaster, so you'd add a crumb tray (although obviously this has been done before). Or you have an apple slicer that requires too much force to use. Or you think your trash can opens in a dumb way, etc.

Best place/way to sell old magazines?

My parents are cleaning out their basement and want to know if they should toss a bunch of old magazines I had. These are Nintendo Power ~120-180 and PC Gamer ~120-190. I looked on eBay but most items were single old issues. Probably best to just recycle these?

What is your favorite Android keyboard and why?

I really like Swype but its inaccuracy drives me crazy. It's incredibly frustrating to try 5 times and still not get the correct word (and I've used it for months). So now I just use the gingerbread keyboard, which is generally less agonizing.
