I don't know that GSkill ever said it was all B-Die or not. I can't imagine that bargain kit is. Im sure someone will grab one and report later. Im curious as to what the thought process is behind a lot of the SKUs GSkill has with the Neo line. Like some are obvious speed/latency improvements or...
I think my kit was $280'ish when I bought it. Right at the peak of DDR4 inflation, lol. I did think about grabbing another 2x8 kit and running 4 sticks, but I haven't really seen any reports on what the upper limits of 4x8 setups are yet.
Yep I've seen people get 3600 CL14 out of these kits at...
I have the GTZRX version of that kit now running with a 1700 & C6H. I just really wanted to get to 32GB and still have the memory as close to fabric clock sweet spot as possible. Without breaking the bank. I bought my B-Die when it was at absurd prices, so they've already gouged me once. I may...
For those of you like me that were waiting on Trident Z Neo, they're starting to crop up on the web in Australian and German websites.

Might also want to check how you have the pump connected and if you have a BIOS/Corsair Link speed control setting conflict at the pump. Could also explain why you can use it sometimes just fine and then it spikes the temp quickly.
For example if you have the BIOS set to a custom power curve...
Thanks everyone for all the info so far. Been watching silently in preparation for my build in a month or two.
And for the people a little hesitant about the water cooling, I did my first setup a few years ago. It may sound intimidating, but it's not as bad or risky once you just start doing...
We just moved into a new house. New construction. Lots of fun things to do in addition to unpacking. For example, yesterday I "mowed" the "lawn" with a weed eater. And by "lawn" I mean a bunch of dirt with baby weed trees everywhere because they haven't layed our sod yet lol
Also doesn't help...
One thing I forgot to add and dnavas mentioned was rad orientation with the hoses at the back of the case when using a 360/420 rad AIO cooler.
While I can't say for sure with other AIO coolers, I do know that I couldn't use the rear case fan if I did it with the H115i. The hoses were just too...
That's kind of why I was thinking inverted ATX might be a good solution. I'm thinking that by the time you route out of the pedestal, up into the main case, and then do any kind of cable-fu inside the main case to reach standard ATX located SATA ports or make the cabling look good, it's going to...
Sure. I won't be home for a few days but I can take a look as soon as I get back. Can probably just pop the top bay cover out and reach it easy enough.
I have done the top fans as intakes before. It's not absolutely terrible to deal with if your PC is sitting somewhere not open to the room on...
Just thinking out loud here, but tossing around the idea of doing something like this.
Historically I have been driven toward full tower cases mostly because of the amount of storage drives I use in my main rig. Lately I've been thinking it might be a feasible solution to go with a much...
Probably a little late to the party, but I have the Enthoo Luxe non tempered glass. Here's some thoughts that might help you a bit.
Pros:
Plenty of room for AIO cooling. Push/Pull 240/280 rads work fine with standard 25mm thickness fans up top. Haven't tried 38mm thickness fans in push/pull...
Lately I've resorted to going to B&M's to pick up my drives in full retail boxes. Started doing that a few years back because it seemed like Newegg got a whole truckload of bad OEM drives or hired a terrible fork driver. Either one of those two happened or I had the worst streak of bad hardware...
I'd be curious if all of them are full eATX or some hit the 10.5" mark. Lots of typical cases out there that can take those. I loved my Magnum M8, but it's just way too much case without a serious custom loop. I have the Enthoo Luxe now and it will easily house a 10.5" eATX board with my H115i...
Thanks for the quick review. Still on the fence whether to go threadripper or not but if I went the 8 core route I was really looking at the Strix X370.
Not sure if this would help you or not, but if you have the cable length to reach more than just four drives and you're careful about the amp load on each run, you can do something like I have done in the past to customize the appearance of drive power runs. This run originally only had 2 SATA...
For anyone that might come across this later, I got the cooler installed today.
I haven't tried to remove the Corsair Link cable yet as I'm still fiddling with settings and profiles, but the cooler seems to be doing well in push/pull with less than optimal fans. I run the orange Xigmatek...
Just picked up an H115i for the PC and tossing around a few thoughts in my head before I install. Want to get everything squared away plan-wise beforehand as I don't have any place local to go pick up parts like adapters, cables etc. Done a bit of googling, but just looking for some specific...
Tried to enable "tapping" but didn't get far. Touchpad is not listed under the "Mice" Control Panel option, and I get an error with the driver when the "Mice" menu loads...
"Windows is unable to connect to the Synaptics Touchpad driver... blah blah blah"
Got some other stuff to do, but I'm...
Ah, sorry, took your question in the wrong context.
Absolutely nothing happens when I attempt to double tap the lock/unlock indented area. No lights, no change on screen.
It's kinda what makes me believe this is really a hardware issue. The pad just acts like something has disabled it at a...
Its supposed to be the lock feature for the touchpad. There's a small indented circle at the top left that when you double tap inside the indent, the pad locks so that touching anywhere on the pad doesn't do anything. Usually the light next to it changes color to indicate that the pad is locked...
My girlfriend has an HP Pavilion G7 laptop that is about 2 years old. When she powered it up today, the Synaptics touchpad was not working. I'm not very familiar with these laptops, but I have done everything I know how to do to get it functional with no luck. If anyone has any input, this is...
Might have to. I was hoping someone who owned of these things would chime in with an 8GB module they have had success with. Main reason I haven't gone the Dell route yet is the price kind of defeating the purpose of upgrading what I already have as Rossman says below.
I might give the...
Thanks for the replies.
This is the first RAM module I tried (the 4GB one) and the laptop refuses to post with it. It tested fine in another laptop so I know it's not the RAM that's bad. I tried one from Kingston and another generic too. I have model numbers somewhere. I will post them here...
I'm trying to refresh this 14z to bring it back to usable status for school. I don't have the cash to drop on a new laptop right now, so I'm just trying to get this thing back to functional. There are a few issues with it that need addressing.
First, it needs more RAM. It has only one upgrade...
Been trying to find a definitive answer but apparently my google-fu is weak.
Anybody confirm or deny whether the tab 4 10.1" will fit in tab 3 10.1" cases? I wasn't sure if there were any hole/port changes or anything that would prevent it.
Specifically I'm looking at these two keyboard...
It's a little dated now. I never upgraded because I honestly didn't see the benefits over the cost.

Ok so now for the gripes. Keep in mind I love this case more than any other one I've owned. But of course nothing's perfect, so I have stuff to whine about.
1) Right angle SATA plugs are awesome. Until you meet this case. If you populate the bottom 5.25 bay or the first HDD sled in the top...
Well I just finished my build. Putting everything together was fairly easy. I had a few gripes which I'll post next, but here's a gratuitous few shots of the finished product. Camera phone does this no justice. It's freaking gorgeous in person.
I'll definitely post back when I start some assembly. I should've ordered the fans at the same time, but I was on the fence about swapping some of them and made the decision after I got the case to go ahead and do it. Not to mention that the 200mm Xigmatek is pretty hard to find nowadays...
Just wanted to share my experience so far, maybe for anyone on the fence or ready to click the checkout button. I fell in love with this case when I saw it and now that it's here, I can say it's everything I hoped it would be. I just can't shut up about how much I love this thing.
I'll start...
That's reassuring. They don't do much more than youtube/streaming and the occasional time waster $5 special games so it sounds like the IGP would do just fine.
That LG 21:9 looks really nice. I really like it but I will have to run it by them and see what they think. Their desk isn't huge so it may pose a problem there. Other than the space, I hope their poor SB i3 integrated GPU can cope with such a high res on a monitor like that. I have zero...
Did some quick google work and looked through a few pages here but didn't really see anything that caught my eye. I'm admittedly way out of the hardware loop these days due to school and other things, so I would appreciate anyone's input on some models to look into. Even a site with a current...
I'm about to upgrade and can't force myself to deal with the 4MP camera on the M8. I did catch a few rumors on the web that HTC was going to release a "M8 Prime" that could have a camera upgrade. Really hope its true as the HTC would be my hands down number one choice with the cam upgrade. If...
