I need a webhost that will allow lots of traffic and CGI usage, for a decent price.

http://www.valueweb.net I have been hosting with them for over 2 years, and they keep getting better. And discounts with multiple websites.

You can run some tests on it like, http://computingcentral.msn.com/topics/bandwidth/speedtest50.asp If you are getting some very slow speeds, you can call them and they can run a line test from their offices. They can check if there are any problems with the line, etc. One thing to remember...

Setting up ftp server with dsl?

Just remember, if you are using the Cisco 675 in PPP mode, your IP address may change from time to time. With USWest, I paid the extra $30 for MegaOffice and got 512Kbps and 5 static IP addresses.

From what I understand, you want to visit some websites and not have them log your IP address. A personal firewall or NAT would not work since they would still see your external IP address and still know it was you by going to your ISP. If your not doing anything illegal, you can use a...

How to share a T1 connection? (newbie help)

Anywhere from $150 to $500, depending on the router. In the long run you would save money, if you all had to pay $60 each a month, it would pay for itself in a couple of months.
