Fry's had this FAR last week. But I got burned on the rebate last year. So I said NO THANKS.
Been trying to get one on eBay for around $20. Been going for 25-30 still.
Just a follow up.
Ordered the BaxAxe2 from MWave....Great Price....Fast Shipping.
The Video Card just barely fit in the first slot. The heatsink was "high" enough that it didn't hit.
Arctic 7 also just barely fits up against the other side of the NB cooler.
Put everything...
Last question before I order the BadAxe from MWave.
I have a Gibabyte 7600 Passive Cooled Video Card, that has some big heat sinks. It appears that it will be a very tight fit in the first slot up against the NB Heatsink. The card I have looks to have bigger heat sinks than the card pictured...
I'm finding the Retail for $247, and OEM for $216 @ NewEgg. MicroCenter has it listed for $199, I'm assuming it is for the OEM, but I don't know for sure.
I also see MWave has it for $195 + Tax & Shipping, never heard of them. Reseller Ratiing looks OK.
It looks like the Retail version...
On LegitReviews in the Forum section, the Moderator is in contact with Intel working on BIOS fixes. Looks like a new one was released yesterday.
Might check that thread for some info.
Good Luck !
How about the DS4 version ?
It's been listed on the Gigabyte site for a while.
But I can't find a retailer that carries it.
Or much in the way of reviews.
I have an application at work that I need a BIG screen to be able to see all the fields.
It is a text based application with line drawings.
I'm looking at the Dell E228WFP or X2gen MW22U, mainly for size and cost.
If it works out, I need to be able to justify the purchase of 5 of...
I'm looking for suggestions for a couple of software applications.
First one is an application to encrypt backup CD's as I burn them.
Second may not even need software. I have several XP Pro machines,
that have many users. I want to be able to restict changes being made.
Such as hiding...
Dell Deals is currently showing a POSSIBLE price of $611 with 15% off plus a coupon. YMMV
Got me looking at it, I've been waiting on a deal for a pair of 20 inchers.
Thanks for the replies.
The motherboard that I'm leaning toward is the
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
So I'm looking for a way to hook 2 DVI LCD's to this.
Again No Gaming, I'd prefer passive cooled, price is not that important.
But I don't want to spend $400 on a video card that I won't need.
Looking to build a new system. I want to be able to run 2 - 19 or 20" LCD's.
No Gaming at all.
Most of the Motherboards that I'm looking at have 2 PCIx16 Express slots.
What is the difference between running a couple of $75-100 video cards, as opposed to getting a single more expensive...
Was at Fry's looking at LCD's.
A coupe of the NEC monitors really jumped out at me.
They were in the "Opticlear" line. They have the look of a "glass" face to them.
The specs on one in particular, the 90GX2, a 19", says more than 16 million colors. I guessing this is a 6 bit panel ...
I placed an order last night also, no A9 discount. But the little symbol is still "active" on my sign on. Guess I don't need to go to Amazon every day now to keep it active, in case I want to order.
Sweet, my order shipped! Two 2007FP's at $116 each and one 2407FP at $536. Check it out:
Care to explain this deal ?
Thanks (and waiting with Credit Card in hand)
