    These are great and have never hurt my ears. I have had mine for over a year and would highly recommend them. I have worn them for some long nights of WoW (MC runs and the like) and never had an issue with sound quality or too much ear pressure.

    Does Windows recognize that you are running a multi processor? In Device Manager under Computer it should say something like ACPI Multi Processor If it doesn't update the driver for the processor and select the Multi version.

    I am wondering if it is the Wireless component. I play some FPS, and a lot of other games and use a basic MX700, they seem to work well, but every once in a while there seems to be some lag or skipping across the screen. I wonder if a 510 would stop that?

    apparently you must have had a bad ground somewhere, which was not allowing your mobo to fully "kick into gear". When you re-installed the ground connection was never "re-grounded". I have seen similar problems with cat hair, because apparently it can be conductive, and wiggle into bad areas...

    Yossarian451, Read this thread, it sounds like the exact problem you are having: Infamous Two-Tone Siren Apparently its a common issue with NF7-S motherboards. I have experienced the same thing with mine as well, and this fixed it.
