Android DPI scalling?

in android, you can change the dpi too . though i believe the phone has to be rooted. with xpose , and app settings plugin, you can even change the dpi and font properties for each individual app.

youtube karaoke system?

actually, i have a similar setup although i stick the computer and microphones into a mini behringer karaoke mixer. sounds OK. i will upgrade the behringer mixer in the future but for now its fine.

Any Tasker gurus out there?

Does it make sense to buy phone released 2 years back !!

sure why not? i have an LG g2. aside from no microSD what more cna you ask for? it has an ir blaster, nice screen, 2 gb ram,3rd party roms. and i get 7 hours screen on time for my usage. it runs for about 100 bucks.

poweramp + viper4android I love viper4android with the PureBass+ and Headphone dynamics enabled. sounds like i have 18" subwoofers in my head lol. i'm just using a monoprice $10 earbud.

Motorola G first gen to?

i can vouch for the G2. I"ve had mine for about 3 months. the battery life is incredible. for my usage, i'm getting 7-8hrs of screen on time.

Charging all day bad for battery?

I have a phone with built in wireless charging. The phone gets quite warm when charging it this way, whether or not this will damage phone remains to be seen.

I like the 2013 moto X quite a bit. but unfortunately the amoled screen is a deal breaker for me (screen burn in), otherwise the shape of it and lcd size is perfect

screen cracked , replacement doubt

you need the front digitizer. if the lcd is fused together with that piece of glass, it'll be a bit more difficult to replace as you'll have to carefully pry out the glass.

Does anyone still get the AMD 7xxx bug where your monitor doesn't wake up from sleep?

yup i have the same issue, 7870 factory overclocked, not using any adapters just straight dvi. so far unplugging and replugging the dvi works. minor inconvenience for me since my pc is right next to my desk but still annoying as hell.

Built my new HTPC from scraps laying around :)

nice build, I'm still using my htpc build from 2007: Laptop cpu: coreduo 1.8ghz 3 gig sodimm, aopen mobo (usually) boots openelec XBMC from usb drive. control via Yatse. sometimes I pop in a small 64gig ssd drive with windows in it if i need it for more than xbmc...ie netflix, espn streaming

Reason for 5 home screens in Android Kitkat?

afaik, kitkat's default launcher wont let you have an empty homescreen. i just use Apex Launcher. though I have a paid Nova Launcher. I prefer Apex.

Samsung thinks the high-end market is saturated?

in theory yes, but there is lag when you are outputting to hdmi. its fine for watching videos but games would not go well. i'm dont know about the current crop of high end phones but last years batch i believe still have this problem.

i suffer from motion sickness problems so I did get dizzy looking at the zoom animations. i don't own an iphone but played with my friend's and I had to put it down soon after.
