WTF $#@!!$%#@!$ loosing credits

Hmm... I'll look at the log for my 2600k box when I get off work in a few hrs which is running under win 7 and also 24/7 w/Zotac 470 gpu card. System is running Giga's O/C @ 4.1 with a Crucial SSD 128Gb drive. It has been working like a metronome - every 2nd day I get a 70k-80k point pulse in...

Reached the 10,000,000 plateau for Folding @ Home thanks to a recently built i7 2600k SandyBridge o/c at 4.1ghz running smp bigadv and a Zotac 470 gpu chipping in as well.

Darn...a sad end to a great farm you have built up...shame they don't make human-size gerbil wheels so you could toss a couple of politicos inside and power up that farm for ya - best use for those missing links than having them pick our pockets instead of truly solving this nation's problems...

My new i7 2660k box is currently working on Project # 2685 which @ 4.1ghz overclock is doing about 30min/segment. It's about halfway done now and should be done sometime tomorrow morning taking just a little bit over 2 days to complete. I used Giga's EasyTune to push the cpu to 4.1 overclock...

Anybody going to Sandybridge for crunching?

Just a small update for all you Sandy Bridgers... Finally completed the the SB build this past Sat. Ran into problems trying to load Win 7 onto the SSD. Took about 2 hrs in which there was enough of a "power-on" window that Win 7 finished loading. Was getting power-ups & power downs...

Anyone here ever consider turning to the dark side (EVGA folding promotion)?

I have EVGA in ALL of my Boxes (Q6600 = 460GTX, AMD = 250GTX, SandyBridge i7 2600K {on hand, not yet built} = 8800GT) but will not leave TeAm! I have known of the promotion for some time but am not interested...

kudo's to Phax! - Added a Toshiba Qosmio 505 model Laptop to crunch this month. It's doing a Fermi gpu and 1 smp FaH for TeAm. It's an i7 740 @ 1.73 GHz cpu, 8 gigs ram running on Win 7 ultimate. For SMP project 6701 it's doing about 3 steps/hr. Under the GPU Project 6806 is clocking in at...

Too hot to crunch

My AMD x4 rig shut down a couple of days ago on it's own here in NYC. The Intel Q6600 box was still going strong but one of the fans was intermittering racing so I shut it down this morning. The only thing still crunching is the PS3 so regrets about the shortfall of numbers for FAH crunch for...

Do you have a 8800GTX/9800GTX/280GTX and its variants still working?

Have a EVGA 8800GT that is still active in my Q6600 box. Don't remember when I got it but it's been 24/7/365 for at least a couple of years now. It's main usage is crunching F@H for da team! Turtleblue

I noticed that board as well when I saw comments of it last month. That and the bigavg(?) you called attention to in an original post in conjuction with a Linux server box which is scoring big points for those with this type of setup (which now can be accomplished with a win os) has had me pause...

Folding@Home on Windows 7 64-bit using a GeForce GTX295. Solution found.

Well...at least this ans my question of F@H working with Win7. I built a Phenom II 955cpu/Zalman 9700 heat sink/EVGA 250 1gig/Giga 785 mobo/4 gigs corsair/500 gig Hard Drive in a Antec 900 box. After a few days of it not even doing a post and stripping it down to its knickers to work...
