i considered that, but given how much more they cost it wasn't that attractive to me. the other problem is don't they just credit outages based off the monthly rate? from what i've seen i know they "guarantee" 99.9%+ uptime, but even outages that last a minute or two is enough to cost me...

22" Widescreen Samsung LCD $364 @ Circuit City

A friend of mine got one during the BF deals. The backlight issue is definitely there...but it wouldn't bother me enough to pass this one up. If only this thing would do 1200 vertical, I'd be in. Guess I'm stuck waiting for another deal on the Dell 24". :(

Secondary Hard Drive asking to be formatted?

Decent, Inexpensive Tube amp?

I've been doing a bit of shopping for a combo amp, and I was wondering if any of you other guitar guys have recommendations for a decent tube amp in the $300-600 range. I was looking at some of the Traynors, but I don't know much about them. What else should I look at?

Got the wrong CPU

Does ZZF even guarantee specific revisions? I don't think they do. I say give it a shot...my E6 does 2.6...not great but for the price is it really worth an extra 100 mhz?

Well I know it's an X800. :) Is it the same thing as the X800 Pro is what I was really wondering? I don't really follow new tech in video cards as you can see. I remember a while back that people were having good luck flashing X800 Pro VIVOs to XT's...and at this price it seems like it...

I would say it's worth it (if it's compatible)...ONLY because you could resell your old chip for pretty close to what you paid for the new one. :)

Only 1.62-1.63? Most people consider that to be pushing the limit when talking about air cooling for the K8...let alone the retail cooler. 1.7 is just flat out too much vcore.

That vcore is too high for the stock HSF. Temps may be fine....but you can still kill the processor with voltage. I wouldn't go over 1.55 on stock cooling or maybe 1.6 at the absolute max. I am surprised you need that much voltage actually...most Semprons will hit 2.4 or so with 1.55 or less...

Question about pci & agp locks with oc'ing

Text I dunno if you're SOL just yet. Requiring M-ATX definitely is a problem...but this ASRock and another Biostar use the Nforce 410 chipset which *should* have pci/agp locks. It's based of the NF4 platform....but has integrated video. I don't know if that's the direction you're looking to...
