it would be a better deal to pay $200 and grab the latest technet sub with 40% off.
that way, you can legitimately install up to 10 copies of office 2007 (in addition to getting other titles)
1. driving a gas guzzler isn't a God-given right;
2. we'll see if this 25% logic is still valid when the gas hits $6 per gallon
3. as a Jeep Wrangler owner, I am never going to own another truck from Jeep ever again. Talk about a crappy quality; I mean they have been making Willy/CJ/YJ/TJ...
that promo code does not work anymore (at least for me).
i am not a student and i was able to purchase and download ms software.
better pull the trigger next time!
i have this one. a decent unit, although not as reliable as a "regular" ps2 units. just make sure to have the kvm accessible because it is prone to locking up and you either have to disconnect the usb power or manually press buttons to switch screens
yes you can. just long as you open ugma or utma account using her ssn (you can be the account custodian). most branch managers are not aware of this setup so bring in your "coupon" and ask them to call their service dept for confirmation.
i did this in nj
i thought latitude was the higher-end business class machine vs. vostro which is a budget class laptop?
also, if you have invested $$$ in the earlier latitude accessories, you can most likely re-use them with later latitude laptops (like moving from d500 to d820)
i compared hp nc8430 and...
has anyone heard of cp technologies before?
buy.com rebate info says "...purchase this logitech product...."; i don;t think this this true?
31 bucks is a good chunk of change, esp. knowing that buy.com will not make it "right" if the rebate goes sour
thanks op. i was looking for one of these.
however, i am not too crazy about buying from a directron via yahoo store and their shipping was crazy $12 to nj.
i will be buying it from newegg for few extra dollars.
I took a look at past 7 day sales. It seems like the selling prices range anywhere from $150 to $200?
Good deal if you are looking for a generic spare pc
I have the same case without the top window part; From my experience, I would look at some of the other cases first before purchasing this one because:
1. it's larger than other mATX cases;
2. aluminum construction is pure crap; the mobo tray is highly susceptible to flexing/bending
I've bought few dings from Dell. None had any significant damages like crushed cases, etc. (I remember tech saying Dell will replace these before selling them).
To boot, many of them were brand new, customer returns.
soyo must be desperate to get rid off the stuff they bought for their rebate scam.
soyo sucks and i will never, ever purchase their stuff (of course, if i lived in ca and items didn't involve rebates, maybe?) :)
I recently bought a new laptop with xp pro and it came with a free upgrade to vista business 32 bit dvd. do you think i can upgrade from vista biz to ultimate?
according to ms, it will cost $140 but does'nt say anything about a vista biz upgrade being eligible to be upgraded to ultimate.
Just stopped by Princeton NJ store during lunch.
Their liquidation team was busy yellow-tagging all LCD TVs (10% off), Computers (10%) and Notebooks (5%). Rest of the store was not being discounted at the time. I spoke with the manager and he said:
1. All CompUSA and Manufacturer rebates...
Just got back from the NJ event. Here's the recap
1. Got there 6:30am and few people were already waiting in the lobby!
2. Registered at 7am and got the black "goodie" bag containnig brochures, lighted pen, shirt and a HOLOGRAM card. I was told to hold on to the card and submit them at the...
I think the advertisement is quite misleading. My interpretation is that:
1. There is no difference between an academic version and a retail version
2. You are purchasing an Upgrade version
3. Unlike previous Windows upgrades, Upgrade version REQUIRES that you have the old operation...
According to this article, sounds like all beta testers who activate their beta Vista copies "may" receive Vista RC1? Has anyone participated in the past M$ beta programs? If yes, can you share some of the "perks" you have received from the company?

actually, you got to include all those "certified receipt" mailing costs and of course, extra $$ if you want your rebate faster.
td = lying, no good, dirty scumbags
ps > yeah yeah, some of you have no troubles with td; i say go ahead and keep purchasing from them; you will learn soon...
didn't have the patience, so I ordered couple of DVDs. With shipping, it came out to be 20 bucks. i'm cheap but my time is more valuable than 20 bucks....
I got the same email, but didn't want to depart with $650 for a so-so platform. they kept on saying how it retails for $2k. what a load of bull. used to root for amd but i think they are getting too cocky. go intel!
Umm, have you check their stock price lately? The only reason Ford is not in bankruptcy is that Ford family owns a rather large chunk of the company via company stock and they don't want to lose it.
I do not wish anything bad for Ford but if anything bad were to happen, you would be screwed...
why is it that we are more than happy to pay extra money to get our money back? 10% here, 5 bucks here, 2 bucks to send confirm receipt, etc. wtf?
as far as i'm concerned, rebate houses should be paying us EXTRA, saving them from printing, fulfilling and mailing out these checks!!
ps ->...
These scumb@gs at TD always try to sucker in new people by offering good deals/timely rebates for awhile, but this "good behavior" never last.
Still out $150 bucks and dealing with them is worse than talking to a dumb, mute, and deaf monkey.
