    You'd be better off saving a few bucks & get a regular 5900XT as the SE is eVGA's version of the XT clocked a measly 10MHz faster. Curto, As for formatting your PC if it really needs it go for it, otherwise it should be fine to uninstall the old nVidia drivers & just install the ATI ones.
