    I purchased my Striker back in December, and opted for these Dominators, I also picked up the Corsair fan. There's faster RAM out now, but so far the 8500s have been really good to me. At the price, they're kinda hard to beat if Corsair is still using the Micron ICs.

    I'm guessing that most of the chipsets are going to Foxconn for the BFG, evga and ECS branded 680i boards. So Abit, ASUS and MSI are only receiving low quantities.

    I bought a Striker, and so far it has performed well. Although I have found the FSB holes that everyone has mentioned about the 680i boards. My only complaint, other than the less than friendly slot layout, is the LCD poster flashing randomly when Probe II is running.

    According to everything I can see, DDR2-800/667/533. It also states Front Side Bus 1066 and 1333* (*While NVIDIA Technology will provide FSB speeds beyond spec. the processor must also be capable of this speed.)

    I beliee that there a section on the CD that came with the A8N32 called "Make Floppy". I'm not sure that this will fix your issue though. You may need to run the set-up cd that came with your SATA drives first to format the drives.

    Thanks for your reply! It seems that this motherboard operates correctly with the ACPI Uniprocessor PC HAL, which is weird since that HAL is for a multiple-processor board running a single processor.

    I picked up two of the S-FLEX SFF21F fans, and I must admit I am very impressed! The SFF21Fs push 63.7 CFM at 1600 RPM, they are barely louder than the Papst 4412F/2GLLEs that I have, but the Papst only push 40 CFM at 1200 RPM.

    Corsair has introduced some rather fast RAM, and I'm surprised that no one here has posted anything about it yet. A 2GB kit that is stated to run 2-3-2-6-1T timings. I've been waiting for a 2GB kit that had some decent speed to the RAM and this looks like the leanest timings available.

    The only differences that I can find is that the TP2-550EPS12V has two fans, while the TP-II 550 has a larger single fan. I would imagine that the single fan may be quieter, but they both list 21.3 dBA. Personally, I'd go with the dual fan TP2-550EPS12V.
