    The 300zx TT in the USA did only have 300hp, but there was a reason for this. There is a stop on the throttle that stops it from opening to WOT, stopping it something like 6% short. There is a 4 minute DIY mod to go out and take a dremmel and file the thing off and the net result is 12RWHP...

    Well if you can't slave it, or access it through the other computer like that it is pretty certain that the drive itself is bad. If you just take the jumper off it is on slave by default.     From a quick google search it seems that the PfModNT thing is part of the Creative Labs drivers. Maybe uninstall and resinstall them, or look for a newer version. Or even check their support site for information on the problem.

    That would be a bad idea, that is assuming that the person would think it was the same or slower. First 2 gig of ram will have a major placebo effect, and second no one likes to be wrong. this is where you either say no and leave it at that, or just lie and say your computers don't support that.

    I think when playing games you can have to much memory, and it can slow down proformance just a bit. With windows 9x you can also just have to much memory. But for CAD and what not I don't think 2gig would be a problem at all, it should help a lot.

    This is one of those cases where I really wish they would have kept it the way it was with NT. Or at least close to the way it was. Being able to assign policy with poledit to a user or a group was much better then having to do it to a directory object like you have to do now.
