Found my prob with my "ram prob" don't flash your bios form windows lol. Started loading form the backup bios and had no probs. Back up bios is FC, main was FD now is FE. Reflashed main bio and now everythings ok now. After I RMA'ed my ram lol.
My 2.8c@3.4 gig runs lets see(looking at MB moniter lol) at 21c at idle or on the net and 32c loaded with sandra 2004. ON the stock intel heat sink. you can't go by yours runs cooler, AMD more voltage=more heat duh. So i laugh at your 32c and 40c LOL The Goz
You should try to do a repair install. that way the worst thing you have to do download the servce packs and patches.
that way you don't lose you data.
Is it possible to run both a serial and a ide drive on the same board. The price of the WD360 Raptor has come down and was wanting to get it and use my IDE drive for extra space. Any clues??
Running a 2.8 800fsb@ 3.39 useing geil value ram with memory timeings 2.5 7 3 3 memory score on sandra 2004 5183. I love this board, only bad thing about the value ram from geil is it won't let you go over 400mhz tried it at 402mhz and it crashes. My bad for buying the cheap stuff.
