Maxtor 200GB for $19 AR/AC or even free with PM.

Guy at an OD in St. Louis told me he will only pricematch local competition, and, since we don't have a Fry's, that doesn't help me. This OD always tells me their product is cheaper because of the mail-in rebate. How do you guys get around that?

I have a A64 3000 , 512 Geil Ram, 9800 BBT Radeon (Completely Stock). Whenever I play Doom 3 on medium at 800x600 I get weird "lines" through the screen. It doesn't happen all the time, but it will just like almost I guess you'd say "redraw" that small part of the screen. It's really hard to...

Which game do you think has the best Graphics?

The Farcry shot you linked to looks horrible, and is no way representative of what Crytek is capable of. I'm not saying any one of them look the best, but please at least make the comparision fair.

I think I finally managed to fix the problem, thanks for all your suggestions. I believe the problem was either the onboard audio or NIC, once those drivers were installed, the problem came. Once they were removed the problem ended. However, I still have about 5 devices with yellow warnings...

So, for those of us who recently bought Radeon 9800 Pro/XT?

I have an A64 3000+, so my CPU is still pretty fast. I don't see the 9800Pro being a bad purchase for an interm card between now and when HL-2 is released. Again, no one really knows when Half-Life 2 is coming out, so wouldn't it make more sense to buy a new card when the game is actually out...

So, for those of us who recently bought Radeon 9800 Pro/XT?

Anyone have any ideas as to how much the 9800Pro's price will drop? The XT will obviously have to drop like crazy, but Comp Usa is selling 9800 Pro 128 for 200, and I might pick one up. I'd just sell it when Half-Life 2 actually comes out, and prices settle down, but anyone have any good...

One other question: How noticable is the difference between 3200 green and 3500 level I (Or for that matter any other of the high speed ram)? Are we talking noticable by the naked eye, or just on a benchmark where it might gain 3 fps and barely nudge its competition?
