When did you order yours? I ordered on saterday night, just today at 11:45 am got a 'your order is being processed' email it says it can take up to 24-48 hours.. so i wonder if i'll be rejected too, if they over-sold that is..

E6850 or Q6600

Please keep in mind the alan wake demo seen recently in the presentation from intel, was on a Quad core q6600 overclocked by 1ghz with some pretty hard core cooling.. Whats that mean? Well if the developers are using a quad core, alan wake is definately going ot use more than just a dual core...

In this thread we will keep a tab on Q6600 prices

on this train too, pulled the trigger about 4 or 5pm on saterday, my order is listed as "Pending for Shipment" not sure if that means its just waiting for UPS To pick up, or if they are actually still checking stock to ship out. Now to just find a great deal on an 8800 OC 320! :)

Random Rebooting.. Think its the PSU?

Well i did just recently get a MAxtor 250 gig hard drive.. but their program that just tested it today says it working fine.. How was your hard drives bad? bad sectors? and how did it cuase a random reboot? how can i possibly know?? i sure hope its not the hard drive.. i wana say it was still...

Funny, every single artist where i work (ms games) uses AG monitors.. as a matter of fact they use NEC 2111's.. there's hardly a shadowmask to be found in my building alone.. (at least 1000 monitors in there..75% of the employee's have dual monitor setups). I'm not sure where you get your facts?

Good info there BJR tho I think i have to dissagree a bit.. if that was the case, why would reviewers who review multimple monitors on one system complain that the MITS has the worst text of all the monitors they test on? That wouldn't make sense that all other monitors look good on that crappy...

Well i dont know about the 370mhz bandwidth or whatever effecting the text, but i do know for a matter of FACT that the text does in fact look a bit blurryer at 85hz.. Th i'm gettnig pertty used to it, and ya know what, its not BLURRY by any means, its just not razor sharp.. Its definately...

skywalker, I had considered that, but newegg was a bit more expensive and not free shipping.. plus if i do get one with a bad pixel, newegg will NOT pay to have it shipped back for a replacement or (if they even do it) moneyback, while dell does it all pays for shipping there and back each...

not so much a ghosting effect as the black isn't so crisp on the wite, its like taking a nice crisp aliased angle, then anti aliasing it, it like blurs it some so its not quiet as sharp and nasty looking of a line.. this how the text gets when i turn up the brightness.. the white might be a TAD...
